ARMStaffing is seeking a Travel RN to join a Medical Step Down Unit in Atlanta, Georgia. The assignment runs for 14 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, four days on, four days off.

The unit has 16-20 beds and cares for patients with Sepsis, Heart Failure, Hypertensive Emergency, Respiratory Failure, COPD, Chronic Kidney Disease, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Substance Abuse, Status Epilepticus, and Encephalopathy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Current RN licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a step down unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and assess health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Support patients and their families with education and resources.
