Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Post-Partum RN to join our team in Austin, Texas. This assignment features 13 weeks duration, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and current certifications including BLS, NRP, and ACLS. The RN will perform dual care for mothers and newborns, provide education on infant care, and monitor physical and emotional needs in the Post-Partum/Mother-Baby setting.

Qualifications

• One to two years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• Post-Partum/Mother-Baby experience preferred.
• BLS, NRP, ACLS and additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a comfortable, safe and clean environment for both mother and infant.
• Provide basic newborn care and educate mother on infant care.
