Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a Canton, Georgia assignment. The RN will care for mothers and newborns in the post partum period, with 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for 13 weeks.

Active RN license in GA and acute care mother/baby experience required. Travel employment offers housing options, weekly pay, credentialing support, and benefits including health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS & NRP certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care mother/baby setting.

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the post partum period.
• Monitor moms and newborns after delivery and support proper recovery.
• Instruct parents on bathing, feeding (breast/bottle) and newborn health.
