Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Aurora, Colorado. The assignment features 48 hours per week across 10-hour shifts with days, nights, and flexible scheduling. Duration is 13 weeks as a travel position.

Requirements include an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS/ACLS/NRP, and 18 months of recent Mother/Baby Acute Care experience. Housing, credentialing coverage, and benefits are provided by the agency.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS & NRP certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility

Responsibilities

• Caring for moms and their newborns after delivery.
• Monitoring mothers and helping ensure proper recovery; recognize postpartum depression and teach new moms how to address emotions.
• Teach new parents how to care for, bathe, breastfeed and/or bottle-feed the newborn and monitor health.
