HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, in partnership with Lifepoint Health, is recruiting travel nurses for an 8–13 week assignment at a Rutherfordton, NC facility. You will perform plan of care, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, coordinate care across teams, educate patients and families, and advocate for patients.

Requirements include 1 year acute care hospital experience, active state nursing license, relevant certifications, a degree from an accredited school, and strong English

Qualifications

• One year acute care hospital experience.
• Current state nursing license.
• Certifications as required for the position.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and documenting care.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate with the care team as appropriate.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, transfers, discharges, and referrals.
• Educate patient and family appropriate to age, culture, and condition.
• Act as advocate for the patient's physical and emotional well-being.
