Polysomnographer Night Shift Community Hospital

This position involves performing sleep studies and managing patient care in a clinical setting. The role requires ensuring accurate data collection and patient safety in accordance with clinical protocols and equipment standards.

Job Details

• Certifications: BLS, RPSGT, RRT, SDS, or RPSGT or RRT with SDS, MUST have Respiratory Care Practitioners License
• Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced certifications as listed
• Location Requirements: Valid state license; Compact license must be in hand at submission; within 50 miles of the facility
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year required in polysomnography or related field
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must have Respiratory Care Practitioners License, relevant certifications, and at least 1 year of experience in sleep studies or related procedures
• Additional Information: Must have experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT), Sleep Polysomnography, PSG scoring, and use of ResMed CPAP units; familiarity with Alice 6 G3 software required; Ability to work with adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patient populations; candidates should be prepared to work 3 of the 5 major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
