Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers seeks a Team Member to deliver exceptional customer service at our travel plazas. You will clean, stock, process payments, and help prepare and serve food to travelers.

This role requires flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends and holidays, the ability to stand for long periods, and a friendly, can-do attitude. We offer benefits like 401(k) match, pay on demand, and meal discounts.

Qualifications

• Friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing interaction with customers and coworkers.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers (travelers).
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately process and receive payment from customers, following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing and temp checking.
• Complete a variety of kitchen tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.
