American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN for the PICU in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This travel assignment features 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week duration. The role focuses on pediatric critical care in a high-acuity environment with strong support from a Joint Commission-certified agency.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience in PICU or similar high-acuity pediatric unit.
• Active RN license as required by state.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS certification-level requirement or preferred per role.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized pediatric ICU care for postoperative and critically ill patients.
• Monitor high-acuity pediatric patients and communicate findings to physicians and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
