Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced PICU RN for a travel assignment in Albuquerque, NM. The role starts 01/26/2026 for 13 weeks, with a 36-hour workweek on a 12-hour night shift rotation at a Level I trauma children's hospital.

Requirements include NM or compact RN license, BLS/PALS, and 1.5+ years PICU experience. Enjoy housing stipends and travel/licensure reimbursements during this travel contract.

Qualifications

• Active NM or compact RN license required.
• BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Minimum PICU RN experience of 1.5 years.

Responsibilities

• Work in PICU within a Level I trauma children’s hospital.
• Rotate 3x12 or 4x12 shifts with day and night coverage.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio 1:2 and floating to NICU/ED as needed.
• Use Cerner EMR and manage CRRT/ECMO supported cases.
• Night shift hours 19:00–07:30; no on-call responsibility.
