Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a PICU RN for night shift coverage in Ohio. Active OH or Compact RN license and PICU experience required. BLS, ACLS, and PALS are necessary; at least 2 years of RN experience with PICU exposure is expected.

The role involves 1:1 patient care in the PICU with night shifts (19:00-07:00) and a float between Akron Main Campus and Summa locations. Opportunities to support the Burn Center may arise.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience with PICU experience.
• Active OH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in pediatric ICU (PICU) with 1:1 patient ratio.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00).
• Float between Akron Main Campus and Summa location as needed, may support Burn Center.
• Provide direct care to critically ill pediatric and young adult patients with varied diagnoses.
• Advocate for learning needs and utilize resources when floating.
