Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU for a 13-week assignment in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, with a 36-hour week and 12-hour night shifts. Start ASAP for travel healthcare professionals with pediatric ICU experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric ICU experience.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), NRP (AHA/AAP).
• Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address (no international addresses).
• Travel and licensure reimbursements provided.

Responsibilities

• Work in a PICU with a 4–8 bed capacity.
• Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30.
• May float to inpatient pediatrics.
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Team-based care for critically ill pediatric patients.
• Holiday coverage on a rotational basis.
• All positions are auto offer.
• Local candidates may receive a reduced rate per facility radius rules.
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
