Job Title: Rehabilitation Therapy Job Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: Must be available for full-time work Job Description: - Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. - Assist patients in improving their mobility and physical functions. - Communicate effectively with patients to determine areas of difficulty and work collaboratively to establish goals. - Keep accurate records of patient progress and report updates to supervising physical therapist. - Adapt therapy techniques to meet the specific needs of individual patients. - Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment. - Review and adhere to treatment plans as directed by the physical therapist. - Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities for continuing care. - Demonstrate effective time management skills and ability to manage a caseload efficiently. Additional Information: - On-going contracts with a two-week notice requirement unless otherwise arranged. - Position urgency is normal, with no requirement for holiday coverage. - Bilingual ability is not required.
