Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week assignment in Ridgecrest, California. The role offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour days, and involves travel across designated assignments within the Vibra Travels network.

Ideal candidates hold an active PTA license, 2+ years of PTA experience in hospital/rehab settings, and a valid driver’s license. BLS certification is preferred per some clients.

Qualifications

• Must hold active PTA license in the employed state.
• Minimum of two (2) years PTA experience in a hospital, rehab, skilled nursing, or outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and mobility activities.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Maintain documentation in electronic medical record systems.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families and rehabilitation team.
