Job summary

AlliedTravelCareers is partnering with Towne U.S. LLC to place a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant in Morris, IL. This 13-week contract role offers weekly pay and housing/travel stipends, with duties under a licensed PT to help patients regain mobility.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate PTA degree, an active PTA license, and at least 1 year of clinical experience or strong skills for new grads. Travel across assignments is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure in multiple states.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to travel for assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Help patients perform therapeutic exercises and mobility activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and rehab techniques.
• Maintain a safe therapy environment and assist with mobility and equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care.
