Job summary

Assured Nursing is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel assignment in Independence, Missouri. The position runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, and a daytime shift (9 hours per day).

Start ASAP under supervision of a licensed PT, providing therapy services in accordance with facility guidelines. Responsibilities include delivering PT interventions per the care plan, documenting progress, educating patients, and communicating status to the supervising PT while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
