Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 26-week assignment in Newton Upper Falls, MA. The role requires 40 hours per week, with a days shift and 8-hour blocks, as a Travel position.

The candidate must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy with NPTE, have graduated from an accredited school, and possess at least one year of experience along with current state licensure and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Minimum one year's experience
• Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or in process for licensure
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals per patient capacity.
• Set realistic goals, document patient condition, and educate patients and families in PT methods.
• Develops a plan of care for each patient and provides skilled PT services per physician orders.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
