Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate travel opening in Gainesville, TX. This 13-week assignment requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts, and travel therapists must hold BLS and state licensure.

The PT will evaluate, develop and execute plans of care for diverse patient populations in acute care, supervise PTAs and staff, document per guidelines, and coordinate with Medical Center personnel to ensure a team-based plan of care.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS certification and state-specific licensing.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred for this travel assignment.
• 1 year of PT experience preferable; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the setting and maintain documentation per guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel to ensure a team-focused plan of care.
