The Travel Physical Therapist will evaluate and develop individualized care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting. You will supervise support staff and PTAs, ensure documentation compliance, and collaborate with medical personnel to implement team-based care.
You will apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques, adapt plans as needed, and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility and insurance guidelines.
Position: Travel Physical Therapist
Responsibilities: Evaluate and develop individualized care plans for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting; oversee support staff and PTAs; ensure documentation compliance; collaborate with medical personnel to implement team-based care; understand and apply adaptive equipment knowledge; modify treatment plans as needed; utilize medical systems effectively.
Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months of experience (1 year preferred; new grads encouraged); current BLS certification; valid state licensure; strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology; ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Skills: Effective communication, team collaboration, documentation accuracy, understanding of regulations, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
