Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a traveling Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment based in Charleston, West Virginia. You will deliver PT services in the Skilled Nursing Unit and may work in acute care settings, evaluating patients and implementing individualized treatment plans.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, document thoroughly, and ensure high-quality care while meeting facility standards and expectations of a travel role.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist licensure or temporary license through the WV Board or a compact license.
• BLS certification from AHA is required.
• Experience in skilled nursing, acute care, or rehabilitation settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services in the Skilled Nursing Unit and possibly acute care settings.
• Conduct patient evaluations, develop and adjust treatment plans, and implement therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain documentation and patient records according to facility standards.

Key Details

• Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour daytime shifts.
