Job summary

Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association seeks a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

You will work across diverse clinical settings in Texas, develop personalized treatment plans, monitor progress, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with healthcare teams while upholding safety and evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical, communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Physical demands include lifting/moving equipment and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and assess patient progress.
• Operate therapy equipment and ensure safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans.
• Participate in safety, QA and discharge planning.

Job description

Role: Travel Physical Therapist (PT) responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.

Key Responsibilities: Develop personalized treatment plans, assess patient progress, operate therapy equipment, collaborate with healthcare professionals, educate patients and caregivers, maintain safety protocols, and participate in quality assurance and discharge planning.

Qualifications & Skills: Valid Physical Therapy license, current BLS certification, strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills. Physical abilities include lifting, moving equipment, and mobility. Effective interpersonal, technical, motor, and sensory skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and follow instructions.

Work Details: 40 hours/week, dayshift, with a focus on delivering safe, evidence-based care in various settings. Other duties within scope of practice may be assigned.
