Job summary

TotalMed is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate opening in Ventura, CA. This position lasts for 13 weeks and involves working 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of experience or be an exceptional new graduate willing to learn.

Responsibilities include overseeing PTAs, understanding facility billing, and creating patient plans of care. Required qualifications include BLS certification and state-specific licensing.

The pay package includes a tax-free stipend, amount to be confirmed upon hiring.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS certification and state-specific licensing.
• PTs should have sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill following guidelines within the facility.
• Understand and comply with PT board's rules and regulations.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
