Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Onancock, Virginia. The PT will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life in hospital, clinic, and rehab settings.

The role requires a valid PT license and current BLS. Doctorate in PT is preferred; new grads welcome. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the assignment.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment safely and effectively.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
