Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Washington, DC, starting 10/19/2026. This travel role is 40 hours per week, days shift at a facility in Washington, DC.

The PT will evaluate and treat patients, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to achieve functional goals. Strong clinical skills and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in the relevant state.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
