Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week inpatient acute care assignment in Gainesville, Florida. This role focuses on evaluating and treating hospitalized patients, coordinating with physicians and nurses, and delivering functional mobility interventions in a hospital setting.

You will work Monday–Friday daytime hours, in a hospital environment, with opportunities to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to discharge planning and patient

Qualifications

Active Florida Physical Therapist license or PT Compact privilege.
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
Inpatient acute care experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and interdisciplinary communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training and balance activities
Assist patients with bed mobility, transfers and ambulation
Address strength, endurance and functional mobility limitations
Evaluate fall risks and recommend appropriate assistive devices
Treat patients recovering from surgery, injury and acute medical conditions
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, OT and case management

Position Overview

As an inpatient acute care Physical Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat hospitalized patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery and other medical conditions affecting their mobility and independence.

You'll work closely with physicians, nurses and other rehabilitation professionals to help patients regain strength, improve functional mobility and safely transition to their next level of care.
