Travel Physical Therapist (PT) - Premium Visit Rates!

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and skilled PTs to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. As a Travel PT at Dover BAYADA at Bayhealth, you'll be essential in facilitating successful patient care, safe transitions, and positive outcomes.

Enjoy a flexible schedule tailored to your availability, including weekends, weekdays, and evenings.

This 13-week position (with potential extension) involves a minimum of 8 home health visits per month in Kent and Sussex Counties.

We offer a premium rate differential and mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements such as mobility, joint range, transfer status, stability, ambulation patterns, muscle strength and endurance, balance, and safety assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance interventions.
• Assess and revise care plans regularly, collaborating with nursing staff as needed.
• Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative activities to promote health, safety, and independence.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately using a touch pad tablet.
• Implement wound care interventions using evidence-based dressings and topical agents.

Requirements:

• Active and current DE PT license.
• Previous home health experience required.
• Commitment to a 13-week assignment with at least 8 shifts/month.
• OASIS experience required; HCHB experience preferred.
• Ability to travel regionally based on census.
• Deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Compensation:

• Start of Care visits: $200 - $212 each
• Routine visits: $80 - $85 each
