About The Position

Job Title: Physical Therapist - Home Health Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: PT Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance Description: This position involves providing home health therapy visits. The therapist will be required to attend periodic office meetings. The average number of patients seen per day is 5-6. Contractors will be assigned between 5-10 patients daily, which equates to roughly 6-8 points. It is essential to have recent Home Health experience, and first-timers will not be accepted. Weekend requirements may vary, and applicants should discuss this during the interview. The therapist must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic. Mileage will be reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. The commute to and from the first and last patient is not billable. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Pending licenses are not accepted unless the license takes a few days to obtain. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow-Ups. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the appointment. Clinicians must accept every patient on their schedule regardless of distance. There are no guaranteed hours, and clinicians must meet weekly productivity points of 30. Floating to another nearby clinic for additional hours may be available if needed. The expected productivity is 30 points per week. All travelers must be proficient in HomeCare HomeBase EMR and have used it within the last 6 months. Orientation will not be billed.
