About The Position

Physical Therapist (PT) - School - (PT - School)

Start Date: 4/28/2025 | Available Shifts: 7.5 D | Pay Rate: $1,649.62 - $1,807.56

AMN Healthcare is partnering with a New Windsor, NY school district to hire a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to work with children of all ages. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, building and executing treatment plans, and educating students to improve movement and reduce pain.

  • Partner with the district to help students restore and maintain physical functions.
  • Screen and evaluate students referred to Physical Therapy.
  • Collect data and report findings accurately.
  • Create personalized treatment plans to help reduce pain, improve movement, and restore function.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy services.
  • Maintain documentation and billing per standards.
  • Communicate with teachers, staff, and families about student treatment.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited DPT program.
