American Traveler, LLC seeks an Outpatient Pediatric Physical Therapist with CA license and BLS for a day shift assignment in California. You will evaluate pediatric patients in the Rehab Services unit and plan treatments.

The role requires at least 1 year hospital-based experience, weekend rotation every 3–4 weeks, and adherence to facility dress code and grooming policies. Travel staff encouraged, orientation 3–6 hours.

Competenze

• CA PT license required (if applicable).
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate PT degree (MS or DPT) required.
• 1+ years hospital-based/acute care experience required.
• Cardiopulmonary, neurologic, orthopedic, and pediatric experience preferred.
• Gait training, post-op care, and joint replacement rehab knowledge preferred.

Mansioni

Requirements

• CA PT license required (if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Graduate PT degree (MS or DPT) required
• 1+ years of hospital-based, acute care, adult experience required
• Critical care, med surg, and trauma experience preferred
• Skills in patient assessment, adaptive/assistive devices, strength testing, and documentation
• Experience with equipment such as bed alarms, call lights, crutches, gait belts, walkers, and wheelchairs
• Experience with cardiopulmonary, neurologic, orthopedic, and pediatric patient populations preferred
• Knowledge of gait training, post-op care, and joint replacement rehabilitation preferred

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Pediatric PT setting within Rehab Services
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend rotation required every 3-4 weeks
• Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, discharge planning, and patient/family education
• Strict dress code: scrubs with white lab coat required
• Facility grooming policy prohibits facial hair, acrylic nails, unnatural hair colors, visible piercings other than earlobe earrings, and requires tattoos to be covered
• Orientation includes facility modules averaging 3-6 hours, non-billable
• Local candidates accepted at standard bill rate
• Previous staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
