ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an outpatient assignment in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. The PT will evaluate, plan, implement, and assess patient care in accordance with PT standards and physician orders, working with a team to optimize function.

The role requires outpatient PT experience, an active Michigan license, and BLS certification. This travel position offers full-time hours, a 40-hour work week, and a schedule from Monday to Friday with dayshift hours.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Active Michigan Physical Therapist License is required.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' function through testing to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status.
• Develop and implement goal-specific treatment regimes based on assessment data and patient tolerance.
• Submit written treatment regimes as part of the treatment plan authorized by the physician and update the plan of care as necessary.
• Create a treatment schedule that is frequency and duration specific, coordinated with patients and clinical support staff.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about pathology, prognosis, and treatment rationales.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide patient-focused care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment in accordance with physical therapy standards and physician orders. Responsibilities include evaluating patients’ functions, developing treatment plans, and educating patients and caregivers about their conditions and treatment options.

• Skills checklist relevant to the physical therapy specialty, current within the last year, is required.
