Cross Country Allied is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Austin, TX. This outpatient role involves evaluating and treating patients with general orthopedic conditions, developing targeted treatment plans, and ensuring care aligns with signed physician orders.

Formación

• Texas PT license in good standing is required or eligible.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred.
• Must comply with state practice act and licensure requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient education and design functional treatment programs.

Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT OP) Outpatient, unspecified location. The role emphasizes patient education, functional treatment program design, and ensuring effective return to community activities.

Job Details

• Complete a comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on progressing patients towards discharge within an established length of stay.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to tailor treatment goals and ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval, as indicated and necessary for clinical care.
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry using approved formats in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines.
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing a positive learning environment with appropriate supervision, learning objectives, and evaluations.
• Create an individualized professional development plan with clinical management and actively pursue ongoing professional growth through continuing education, self-study, and involvement in professional activities and organizations.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and other regulatory agency guidelines, maintaining licensure in good standing and completing all mandated continuing education.
• Understand and contribute to the organizations performance improvement initiatives by offering feedback and supporting quality enhancement efforts.
• Follow all clinic guidelines outlining standards of personal appearance, attendance, punctuality, and safety to promote a safe environment.
• Complete all documentation and clinical duties in accordance with organizational policies.
