Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 12-week assignment in Mount Airy, NC. The role is Monday through Friday, daytime hours, with staff traveling to cover hospital needs.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of outpatient experience, BLS certification, and Meditech EMR proficiency. Licensure is required where applicable; background checks and references will be completed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient PT experience.
• BLS certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Meditech EMR experience required.
• DOB and SSN required at time of consideration.
• Copy of current Nursys report pulled within last 7 days.
• Two professional references within the last 2 years by a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient Rehabilitation department setting.
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Travelers are expected to float within the hospital as needed.
• Meditech charting system experience required.
• Assess, plan, implement and document patient care across orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary and pediatric cases.
• Complete required labs within 48-72 hours of contract signing for start clearance.
• Staff or travelers must be separated from facility for at least 6 months for return eligibility.
• No mileage restriction; local candidates accepted at the same rate.
• Open to first-time travelers.

• Previous staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least 6 months and in good standing to be eligible for return
• No mileage restriction; local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Open to first-time travelers
