Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health seeks an Outpatient Physical Therapist to assess, evaluate, and plan treatment for diverse patients in a rehabilitation clinic. You will document progress, discharge plans, and collaborate with a care team to deliver high-quality therapy services.

The role requires 1+ year outpatient experience, Texas licensure or pending, and proficiency with Epic. Day shifts are 8 hours, 40 hours weekly, with a focus on orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience in outpatient orthopedic care.
• Texas licensure or pending license; BLS preferred.
• Proficient in Epic charting system and documentation.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role: Outpatient Physical Therapist responsible for patient assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge documentation in a rehabilitation clinic setting.

• Responsibilities: Provide orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric patient care using modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, traction, and cryotherapy; conduct gait training, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Key Duties: Manage outpatient treatments, document evaluations, and ensure patient progress; work with a team to deliver quality therapy services.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience, especially in outpatient orthopedic/musculoskeletal care.
• Licensure in Texas or pending license; BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient in Epic charting system.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and patient education skills.
• Experience treating diverse populations including orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric patients.

Key Duties & Requirements

• Deliver care during day shifts, 8-hour days, 40 hours per week.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; not available for travel pairs/groups or former staff returning within a year.
• Open to first-time travelers with prior interview preferred.
• Utilize modalities, conduct patient assessments, and document treatments accurately.
