Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Norfolk, VA. This role offers 40 hours per week, an 8-hour shift, and travel employment with the chance to impact patient mobility and recovery.

Qualified candidates will hold a state license, BLS certification, and may have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. New grads welcome to apply as part of a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred: Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment need.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessments and goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans using various techniques to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
