Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Anacortes, WA. The role offers 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts, in a facility setting. A license in WA and current BLS are required; DPT preferred. New grads welcome to apply.

The therapist will evaluate, diagnose and treat patients, creating individualized plans to improve mobility and reduce pain, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• New grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, clinical examinations, and patient history to identify functional limitations and treatment need.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques to improve patient mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, proper body mechanics, injury prevention strategies, and self-management techniques.
