Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Longview, Texas. The role offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and an ASAP start with a travel employment type.

You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across hospitals, clinics, and rehab settings, delivering evidence-based therapy and collaborating with a clinical team to ensure quality care and timely discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
• Physical therapy experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate care.
• Educate patients/caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and adhere to infection control standards.
