American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week Long Term Care assignment in Texas. Candidates must have 2+ years of PT experience in LTC and hold a TX or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates to ancillary staff and students consistent with state laws and department policy
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation in compliance with accreditation and insurance requirements
• Communicates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to support treatment goals
• Participates in patient and family education, quality improvement, and professional development activities
• Maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
• Functions within the scope of practice defined by the state practice act
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
