Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a traveling Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Los Angeles, CA. The PT will supervise PTAs and therapy staff, bill within the facility, and coordinate with Medical Center teams to implement a plan of care.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of PT experience, BLS, and state licensure; ability to stand for long periods is required. Travel benefits and pay details are provided by TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of PT experience; new grads welcome.
• Current BLS certification and state PT license required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods; able to bend and squat as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and therapy staff.
• Bill within settings following facility guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to plan care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify as patient condition changes.
• Use hospital systems for daily tasks and documentation.
