Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Kodiak, Alaska. The position offers a 13-week travel engagement with 40 hours per week and days shifts, starting 10/05/2026.

Immediate opening, 1 year of PT experience preferred, with 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates; BLS and state licensing required. Responsibilities include supervising PTAs, partnering with physicians for a plan of care, evaluating patient needs, and documenting according to guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads encouraged.
• BLS and state-specific licensing.
• Physically able to stand/walk for long periods and understand medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care.
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient condition.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation per state/insurance guidelines.
