Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Indianapolis, IN seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment. The role is 40 hours per week, with 8-hour days, and includes supervision of staff, documentation, and plan-of-care development within a hospital/clinic setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of PT experience and a valid BLS certification plus state licensure. New grads are welcome to apply and the pay package includes a tax-free stipend.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
