Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy seeks a qualified Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Oakland, CA. The role offers 40 hours per week, a start date of 11/30/2026, and the chance to work in diverse settings within the therapy field.

You will evaluate patients, create individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure optimal outcomes while providing education and support to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy preferred.
• New grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests and patient history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety precautions.
