Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 7-week assignment in Meridian, Mississippi. This role involves evaluating patients, creating individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy to improve mobility and reduce pain.

The position requires state licensure and CPR/BLS in good standing, with opportunities for professional growth and travel experiences. You will work a 40-hour week on day shifts, with the support of a dedicated clinical team,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and plan rehabilitative care based on assessments
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Implement therapy plans using a range of treatment techniques
• Operate and maintain therapy equipment safely
• Document evaluations, interventions and outcomes accurately
• Collaborate with the broader healthcare team to coordinate care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in the treatment area
• Engage in continuous professional development and quality assurance
• Participate in discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings
• Perform other duties within the scope of practice
