Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 17-week assignment in Clarksdale, MS. The PT will evaluate and treat patients, develop evidence-based plans, and collaborate with a clinical team to optimize outcomes.

Requirements include a valid PT license and BLS certification; doctor of physical therapy preferred. New grads are welcome and travel benefits are provided, including competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and maintain devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians for coordinated care.
• Educate patients/caregivers on home programs and prevention.
• Maintain safe environment and follow infection control standards.
• Engage in quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
• Assist with discharge planning for smooth transitions.
