Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Cypress, TX. The role offers 40 hours per week, day shifts, and a supportive clinical team.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Texas PT license, BLS certification, and may possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Travel experience welcomed; strong clinical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions using tests and history to identify functional limitations.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment and modalities with safe, proper maintenance.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control and safety standards.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development to stay current.
• Assist in discharge planning for smooth transitions to home or community settings.
