Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in Methuen, Massachusetts. The PT will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to improve mobility and reduce pain in hospital, clinic, or rehab settings.

The role requires a state-licensed PT and a current BLS certification; Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. Excellent teamwork and patient-focused care are essential for success in this travel position.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• PT experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using tests and history to identify needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement PT treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate PT equipment safely and calibrate devices.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safety practices.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control and safety protocols.
• Engage in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Assist with discharge planning for transitions to home or community settings.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
