Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist to cover Montgomery County and surrounding MD areas. You will work in a home health setting with a daily caseload of about 6–7 visits, primarily daytime hours and a 5x8 schedule.

The role requires 1+ years of physical therapy experience and an MD PT license if applicable, with opportunities for travel. Perks include competitive pay, housing allowances, and travel/licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of physical therapy experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• MD PT state license required if applicable.
• Adult home health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Home health setting covering Montgomery County and surrounding areas including Frederick, Rockville, and Silver Spring, MD.
• Adult patient population with approximately 6-7 visits per day.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday.
• Block scheduling accommodated.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate with no mile radius rule.
• Tobacco-free facility requiring nicotine-free candidates; positive nicotine screen results in cancellation.
• Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year.
• One RTO request permitted.
• Non-billable orientation and annual modules average 4-6 hours, completed through Workday.
