Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with 1+ year of recent HH experience and OASIS proficiency to serve rural and metro territories.

Responsibilities include cover for Clinton office territory (Henry, St. Clair, Benton) 2x/week and Kansas office territory (Eastern Jackson and Lafayette) 3x/week, with a 9:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule over 13 weeks. Travel and house/housing accommodations are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Home Health experience required.
• OASIS proficiency required for SOC documentation.
• Proficiency in HCHB charting system required.
• Active driver's license and own transportation required.
• License required if applicable.
• Strong communication and documentation skills required.

• Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) charting system required
• Active driver's license and personal transportation required
• License required if applicable
• Strong communication and documentation skills required

• Home Health setting covering Clinton office territory (Henry, St. Clair, & Benton counties, 2x/week) and Kansas office territory (Eastern Jackson and Lafayette counties, 3x/week)
• Territories include a mix of rural counties and Kansas City metro area coverage
• Day shift schedule, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 5x8 hours
• No weekend scheduling required
• 13‑week contract length
• Responsibilities include timely completion of documentation and communication with the care team
• Completion of Home Health Checklist is mandatory prior to starting
• Orientation includes completion of billable training modules
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs accepted, though each traveler is assigned to their own territory and must have their own transportation
• First‑time travelers will not be considered for this position
