Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Sanford, Maine. This travel role offers 40 hours per week with an 8-hour shift and ASAP start, working in diverse settings such as hospitals and clinics and providing high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Physical Therapy license, a BLS certification, and may have a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy is preferred for advanced practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions to identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement physical therapy treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate physical therapy equipment safely and effectively, with proper maintenance.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
• Assist with discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.
