Job summary

Medical Talent is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Saco, Maine. The role involves evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering direct therapy to restore function.

Expect 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, ASAP start, with a tax-free stipend to be determined. Responsibilities include supervising PTAs, documenting services, and collaborating with care teams while adhering to facility guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT).
• Active state PT license (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients as appropriate.
• Develop and update treatment/discharge plans of care.
• Document services accurately and timely.
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs per practice acts.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
