Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Jacksonville, Alabama. Start date is 10/05/2026 with a 32-hour work week and 8-hour shifts in a travel capacity. Spend time in a dynamic clinical setting while providing high-quality patient care.

Required: valid PT license and current BLS. Preferred: Doctorate in Physical Therapy; experience welcomed, new grads considered. Competitive benefits and supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred).
• Physical Therapy experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical conditions and identify functional limitations and treatment needs.
• Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Operate and maintain PT equipment and modalities safely.
• Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols during therapy sessions.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
