Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Eugene, Oregon. The PT will work 40 hours per week with dayshift hours, evaluating and treating patients in the acute care setting.

The right candidate has at least 6 months of experience and current BLS and state-specific licensing. This travel role involves coordinating with the medical team, supervising PTAs, and ensuring compliance with regulations while delivering quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
